Monday the 6th

This weeks goals are going to be awesome ...we are still working on both cars we all as a team  got  a lot done within the two week span but today we are all chipping in on making A parts list for both solar cars our goal is to spend under 200 bucks & get stuff we need like a new Circuit breaker & what that  does is if theirs too much power going to the cart the fuse will brake & it stops anything from happening like a on & off switch we also need mini charge controller & that controls the voltage & amperage coming in from the solar panel you can't go anywhere with out a a foot pedal so my teammate peter is building A home made one ....wait & see what he comes up with

this is the other car my teammates & i are working on

fabricating our own foot peddle using stuff that's just laying around   we drilled holes to it can fit in the spot we measured out this hole week we've been hands on on this kart if one person is working on the electronics the other is working on steering  or braking because we have to stop & turn OR  that will be bad if we cant

Friday 10/3/14

This week we were split into two teams and we had to fabricate holes for the motor controller and a better battery housing both teams worked together to help each other out the reason why we had to make the holes is because there's no space for what we are trying to do today we adjusted the drum brake & it actually stops now

today was really awesome

Drilling holes for a mounting plate for The main switch & what that does is disconnect the batteries from the car if anything was to go wrong it's like a big on &; off power switch  we fabricated where we would mount the switch & how it connects to the batteries  we are only using three batteries & a solar panel the care is looking great by next week we should be done with almost everything mechanical
